NEPTUNE *URGENT IN CALIFORNIA*

Meet Neptune, a charming and energetic boy who is approximately 1 year and 6 months old. Neptune is a delightful mix, believed to be part Carolina Dog and part Belgian Malinois. He's a loving, active, playful, and curious companion who loves to explore and engage with the world around him. Neptune has a big heart and enjoys the company of other dogs, especially his female friends! He's also a very good boy at home, being house-trained and responsive when called. Even our feline friends are safe with Neptune, as he's been found to be cat-friendly. He walks nicely on a leash and is a joy to have around children.

Ideal Home

Neptune would thrive in a home with an "alpha human" who can provide clear leadership and guidance. He enjoys playing with other dogs, particularly female dogs, and is also good with cats and children.

Ongoing Health

The veterinarian suspects Neptune has a healed old injury on his back leg. While it doesn't hinder his activity, he can sometimes overexert himself, causing the leg to hurt. Rest is usually all that's needed to help him recover.

Training & Support

Neptune is house-trained and answers when called. He walks well on a leash. As with any new home, he will need patience and reinforcement of his training as he adjusts to a new routine and people.
