Phineas

Phineas is a 3-year-old, neutered male Staffordshire Terrier mix who weighs around 85 pounds. He was found as a stray and is now being fostered in Houston, Texas. Phineas is described as a goofy tank and an oversized cuddle bug who loves to lounge but also gets bursts of zoomies, making hilarious grunts and playful noises. He is incredibly easygoing and dog-friendly, even in a busy foster home with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Phineas is house-trained, trustworthy when loose in the home, and enjoys his crate. He is deeply affectionate, loves being close to his people, and is friendly with strangers. He is calm in the car and unfazed by loud noises or storms. While he would likely enjoy kids or another dog, he is also content being the only pet. Phineas has an adorable underbite, floppy ears, and a signature head tilt, making him impossible not to love.

Ideal Home

Phineas is a low-to-moderate energy dog who would thrive in any loving home. A backyard for sunbathing or a few short daily walks would be plenty for him. We have no history with cats or children.

Training & Support

Phineas is fully house-trained and trustworthy when loose in the home. He also crate-trained and happily eats and relaxes in his crate. He does pull enthusiastically on walks when he wants to greet people.
