Wishbone

Introducing Wishbone, a lovable Beagle with two distinct modes: affectionate cuddle buddy and determined backyard explorer. He greets everyone warmly, enjoys pets, and brings plenty of playful zoomies and personality to his future home.

Wishbone is currently in the Fresh Start Prison Training Program and is available for meet-and-greets on November 29, 2026. He was born on March 1, 2026 and currently weighs 30 pounds.

Ideal Home

Wishbone is gentle, affectionate, and friendly with other dogs. He enjoys having a playmate and may do well with cats with a slow introduction. He would do best with children over 10 who can respect his space, as quick hand movements can make him timid.

His family should be prepared for an enthusiastic digger and escape artist. Secure fencing and supervision will be important, as Wishbone may try to create his own tunnel system.

Ongoing Health

Wishbone is vaccinated and will receive a Home Again microchip, deworming, heartworm testing if old enough, spay or neuter, and a one-year rabies vaccination if old enough as part of the adoption package.

Training & Support

Wishbone is house-trained and participates in the Fresh Start Prison Training Program. He is affectionate, playful, curious, gentle, and athletic.
