Meet Nona! 🤍
Nona is a goofy, loving, and energetic 18-month-old dog who is ready to steal your heart. She came to us as a stray and, with the help of a wonderful foster family, blossomed into the incredible dog she is today. She settled into home life quickly, enjoying cuddles, playing with toys, and soaking up all the love. Nona is resilient, affectionate, and now healthy and eager to find her forever family. She loves walks, car rides, fetch, playing with other dogs, belly rubs, and curling up for cuddles.
Ideal Home
Nona would thrive with an active family that can provide structure, patience, and lots of love. She's still very much a puppy at heart – silly, affectionate, and always ready to make you smile.
Ongoing Health
Nona has completed her heartworm treatment and is feeling great! She will be placed as a foster-to-adopt until her heartworm recheck in approximately six months. This ensures her treatment was completely successful before finalizing the adoption. All our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies vaccinated, and microchipped before placement.
Training & Support
Nona has already mastered "sit," "down," and "stay" and is eager to continue learning. She is working on her leash manners and building confidence in new situations with gentle guidance and consistency. She is also doing well with potty training and continues to improve with a regular routine.

Transportation
Nona is currently at our Okeechobee location. Transportation to a home within a reasonable distance can be discussed.
