Royce

Royce is a happy and playful 1.5-year-old, 40 lb Catahoula/Retriever mix who can be a bit timid at first but is easily won over with treats. He's used to the energetic environment of a home with older kids and enjoys a variety of toys, especially chew toys. Royce is potty trained and loves going for walks, although he can be a little reactive towards other dogs on leash. His foster mom has been working on his leash manners, and he's showing improvement, particularly when walking separately. Royce dreams of adventures in a new home, perhaps hiking or playing in the snow, and would absolutely love a fenced yard to run around in. He's a handsome, fun-loving pup who's the perfect size for cuddling and is sure to become a best friend!

Royce would love a home with a nice fenced yard where he can run and play.

Ongoing Health

Royce has no known ongoing health conditions. His adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, and microchip.

Training & Support

Royce is potty trained. He can be a little feisty on leash when encountering other dogs, but his foster mom is working on his leash manners, and he's improving, especially when he walks alone.

Royce is currently located in South Texas. Our organization delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia, with placement in adoptive families' homes.
