Angel is a 2-year-old, 23-pound Collie/Sheltie mix with the softest eyes and a heart that is trying very hard to be brave. Right now, Angel is very scared. New people and unfamiliar environments can feel overwhelming for her, so she needs slow introductions, patience, and the chance to decompress at her own pace. Her siblings have adjusted beautifully once they had the opportunity to feel safe, and Angel simply hasn't gotten that chance yet. Beneath the fear is a very sweet dog who wants comfort, stability, and someone willing to let her bloom in her own time. She doesn't need perfection; she needs softness, a calm home, and gentle reassurance. Someone who understands that trust can grow quietly and still become something extraordinary. The dogs who take a little longer often end up loving the deepest, and Angel feels like one of those dogs.

Ongoing Health
All adult dogs adopted through Wags have age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, and a heartworm test. They are also kept up-to-date on heartworm and flea prevention.
