Amber Leah is a 2–3-year-old German Shepherd, weighing in at 56 lbs and gaining strength every day. She's a smart and resilient girl with a heart full of love, eager to show off her playful and loyal spirit. Amber is house-trained and comfortable in a crate. She loves her toys and bones and enjoys staying close to her people. She already knows how to sit, stay, shake, and down, and she's excited to continue learning. Amber is just as happy with quiet time on the couch as she is with playtime in the yard.

Ideal Home

Amber would do best as the only pet, though with slow introductions, she can live with another dog. She is still working on her leash manners and learning to relax around other dogs. Her ideal home would likely be in a calmer suburban setting with a privacy fence, but with the right person and structure, she can thrive anywhere. Please be aware that some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations, so please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.

Ongoing Health

Amber Leah has Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency (PEI), a condition common in German Shepherds. This simply requires a daily enzyme supplement with each meal, an easy routine that helps her thrive. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Amber is still practicing leash manners and learning to relax around other dogs. With patience and consistency, she will surely master these skills.
