Fowler

At 3 years old and 75 lbs, Fowler is ready to find his forever home. Those who have followed his journey have seen the incredible transformation he's made in just the last couple of months. After undergoing bilateral entropion surgery, battling an infection, and starting the long process of regrowing his hair, Fowler has remained a champion through it all. You would never know this boy had a rough go at life, because his heart and spirit have remained unchanged. He is a goofy, loving, incredible dog, who is going to make someone's home fill with so much love and laughter.

Ideal Home

Fowler would thrive in an active home that can continue helping him grow into the incredible dog he's becoming. He loves chest rubs and will melt right into them. Fowler will need a fenced-in yard, or a secure tie-out outside, as he is known to sniff around and wander a bit. He absolutely adores other dogs, however, his energy can be too much for some. A dog who is patient, or can match his energy, would be best. He is good with the cats and will occasionally chase them when they run, but calls off immediately. He's often seen cuddling on the couch with them and is able to coexist very well. He is good with kids and truly brings joy everywhere he goes.

Ongoing Health

Fowler recently underwent bilateral entropion surgery, battled an infection, and is in the process of regrowing his hair. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on vaccines.

Training & Support

Fowler is doing great with potty training and sleeps through the night in his crate by choice (he really loves his crate!). He is the definition of a Velcro dog; he loves hard, and his loyalty is unmatched. If he could be by your side all the time, he absolutely would.
