Luke

Luke is a sweet and attentive youngster, about 5-6 months old and currently weighing around 25 lbs. He's expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. Luke is a well-mannered boy who thrives on attention and eagerly awaits playtime with both people and other dogs. His playful nature and working breed mix mean he'll need plenty of space for daily exercise and consistent interaction and entertainment. We are still learning about his housebreaking habits.

Ideal Home

Luke would do well in a home that can provide him with ample space for exercise and plenty of mental stimulation. Families with young children are required to have a fenced yard to ensure his safety and prevent accidental escapes.

Ongoing Health

Luke's adoption fee includes his spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, and deworming.

Training & Support

Luke is an eager and playful dog who will benefit from continued socialization and training. As we are still assessing his housebreaking, patience and consistency will be key in this area.

Transportation

Luke is located at our shelter in Clay City, KY, about 45 minutes east of Lexington, KY. We want to accommodate adopters and can discuss transportation options with approved applications.
