Hank

Hank is a 2-year-old, 62lb Basset Hound Mix who has been neutered and is ready to find his forever home! Hank is a true sweetheart who is still learning to trust, especially around men. He would do best in a home with a woman or a couple who can help him feel safe and loved. He's a gentle soul who loves belly rubs, playing with his toys, and is a fantastic nap partner. Hank is also house-trained and can be left alone for extended periods without issue. He is a quiet, well-behaved boy who understands important commands like "no" and "drop it."

Ideal Home

Hank would thrive in a home with a woman or a couple, as he is more nervous around men. He would prefer a quieter environment, so a home in a calmer part of the city or the suburbs would be ideal.

Hank is healthy and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He has been neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

Hank is house-trained and has a great understanding of basic commands. He is a fast learner and will pick up more with consistent positive reinforcement. He can be shy around strangers, especially men, so patience and a gentle approach will be key to helping him acclimate.
