MEET Lycoda! This sweet, approximately six-year-old Pit mix is an introverted gal who finds herself in need of a new home. Lycoda has been with her family since she was a young pup, but due to a growing toddler, she's become a bit overwhelmed. She thrives in calmer environments and doesn't do well with overstimulation. While she's a bit shy with very young children, she is comfortable with older kids who are respectful of her space. Lycoda gets along well with most other dogs and would likely do best in a home with another stable canine companion. Her experience with cats is unknown. She's house and crate trained, with no history of destructive behavior when left alone. Lycoda knows basic commands and is very food-motivated, making her a great candidate for learning even more! She enjoys lounging with her favorite blanket, but also loves to zoom, spin, and play tug-of-war. Walks are a highlight for Lycoda, though she gets so excited that she still needs to work on her leash manners. This sweetheart's world is about to change, and she'll need a patient family to help her navigate her new surroundings as she may experience some initial anxiety and shyness.
