Axel is a super sweet boy with a unique set of quirks that make him truly special! He knows "sit" and "paw," and he's been working on "lay down." He is also potty trained.

Ideal Home

Axel would thrive in a home where he isn't left alone for extended periods due to his severe separation anxiety. He's also an escape artist, so a secure environment is a must. He absolutely loves cars and would be happiest with a family that can accommodate his obsession, perhaps even with a dedicated space that resembles his "perfect dog house."

Training & Support

Axel can be a little mouthy in the mornings, gently gnawing on things, including arms, when he's energetic. He is extremely visually reactive to other dogs, outdoor workers, and golf carts, which can lead to barking and running in circles. He is not sound reactive. While he can be stubborn about coming inside after potty breaks because he wants to get into the car, he is very friendly with humans and doesn't bark at people at the door. He loves his dog friend Joey and seems to be good with other dogs once any initial reactivity is managed.
