Gus

Gus is a charming 4-year-old, 13lb male Rat Terrier mix who is ready to be your loyal companion. He's a truly sweet boy with a calm, easygoing nature. Gus's perfect day involves being close to his person, whether that's curled up in your lap or resting quietly by your side. He greets everyone with genuine happiness and his gentle presence makes you feel instantly loved. Gus also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a kind, patient spirit when welcoming new foster friends into his home.

Ideal Home

Gus would love a home where he can shower his person with affection and quiet companionship. He is good with children and other dogs. His comfort with cats is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Gus has an autoimmune condition that causes some crusting around his eyes and the sides of his mouth. This will require a simple daily routine of gently cleaning his eyes and mouth with a warm cloth, along with daily medication. The medication is manageable and costs approximately $20 per month. With this care, Gus remains comfortable and thrives.
