Stella in TN

Miss Stella is a beautiful 6-year-old cream-colored long-haired female Dachshund weighing 9.1 lbs. She's a sweetheart with a lot of spunk, retired from breeding and looking for her loving forever home. Stella gets along well with her dachshund foster sisters and can even share a doggie bed with them. Because she was a former breeder, she is still learning the ropes of being a pet and will need patience and understanding. She is working on her house and leash training, but with time and consistency, she'll get there. Stella would love to be your best friend and a cherished companion.

Ideal Home

Stella would thrive in a home where someone is present more often than not. She needs a fenced yard and would do best with another younger, small, well-socialized dog to learn and play with. Homes with small children (under 11 years old) are not a good fit, and she cannot live with cats. She is not suited for apartment, high-rise, or condo living.

Ongoing Health

Stella is up to date on all her vaccinations and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Stella is working on her house and leash training, as these are new skills for her. She is crate trained and will need continued patience, understanding, and structure to learn these essentials.
