Neeko

Neeko is a sweet 3-year-old female Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix with IVDD, who is doing wonderfully with her diapers. She's a little cautious with new people but warms up once she gets to know you. Neeko is dog-friendly, though she doesn't require canine companions.

Ideal Home

A home where she can feel safe and secure would be ideal. Due to her fragility when being handled and her inability to quickly move out of the way, homes with children under the age of 6 are not a good fit for Neeko. She also needs to eat her meals, treats, and bones separately in a crate to manage her slight food aggression.

Ongoing Health

Neeko has IVDD and is paralyzed. All of our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on prevention for heartworms, fleas, and ticks. Dentals are also done if necessary.

Training & Support

Neeko is good with her diapers. She can be slightly food aggressive, so it's best to feed her separately in a crate, and give her treats and bones away from other dogs. She needs a moment to warm up to new people.
