Meet Patches! This beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix, weighing around 45 lbs, is truly a gem. Patches is a gentle, calm, and affectionate soul who is endlessly patient, making her a wonderful companion for anyone, including first-time dog owners, families with children, or those seeking a loyal friend. She is a sweet mama who has lovingly raised her puppies and is now ready to find her own forever home where she can relax on a soft couch, enjoy a safe yard, and shower her people with love.

Ideal Home

Patches would thrive in a home where she can relax and feel loved. A safe yard for her to enjoy would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Patches is up to date on her vaccines and is scheduled to be spayed soon, as she has finished nursing her puppies. The adoption fee covers age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.

Training & Support

Patches is completely potty trained and does not exhibit destructive behavior when left alone, nor does she have separation anxiety. She does not require crating, rarely barks, and shows no resource guarding around food. While she is still learning about walks, she is gentle, willing, and easy to handle. Patches is friendly with everyone she meets, including men, women, children, cats, and other dogs, always greeting them with a wagging tail and a sweet smile.
