Barney came to the shelter with his best friend, Fred, after living in difficult conditions. Despite everything they have been through, Barney is a very sweet, affectionate, playful, friendly, and smart boy. He and Fred love each other very much and would ideally be adopted together.

Barney would thrive with a loving home willing to give him time, patience, and plenty of TLC. Adoption together with Fred is strongly preferred.

Ongoing Health

Barney arrived covered in fleas, affected by mange, and very underweight. He is still recovering and may look a little rough, but he has been doing great during his time at the shelter.
