Kiki is a beautiful, 62-lb. classic black & white "MooMoo" cow with a wagging tail and a larger-than-life personality! She's spent a long time with us, and while her kennel friends have found their forever homes, Kiki is still waiting. She came to us from AHS Newark, surrendered because her former owner had "too many dogs." Upon arrival, she showed signs of having been bred multiple times, was overweight, and had some lumps, which were successfully removed. True to her spirit, Kiki was happy to be with us. After being spayed, undergoing a "tummy tuck," and benefiting from our extended walks and good nutrition, people who hadn't seen her in a while commented, "Kiki got a body lift!"
Kiki recently thrived in a foster home where she could decompress and relax. She was fulfilled being part of a family and would love to find a forever home where she can be cherished. She is housebroken, loves to snuggle, and enjoys training sessions (especially when treats are involved!). Kiki enjoys walks and relaxing with calm canine companions. She is about 9 years old, very food motivated, and while she can take treats gently, an adult home or teens and up is preferable because she's not shy about asking for snacks! Recently, her best friend and kennel neighbor, Starla, was adopted, and now Kiki waits. We all adore this girl and would love to find her a great home with large dog experience, where she can have people to love and live the wonderful life she deserves.
Ideal Home
A home with large dog experience where Kiki can receive plenty of love and attention. An adult home or teens and up is preferable due to her enthusiasm for food.
Ongoing Health
Lumps were removed and had no issues. Kiki also underwent a "tummy tuck" procedure.
Training & Support
Kiki is housebroken and enjoys training sessions. She is food motivated and may ask for snacks, so an adult home or teens and up is recommended.
