Nova

Nova is a gentle, affectionate girl who has touched every heart she's met. She was found by a kind family, came into rescue pregnant, and lovingly raised her litter, even co-parenting alongside another dog she didn't know. After her puppies were weaned, she returned to the family who found her, and now they need help placing her in a new home that fits her needs. Nova is truly a joy. She adores people, melts for attention, and has had wonderful, loving interactions with kids. She leans in for cuddles, insists on pets, and will happily curl up beside you for as long as you'll let her. She's also beautifully mannered: leash-trained and house-trained, and she loves being part of family life. Nova has lived with two other dogs and did well for a long time. She's friendly when meeting new dogs and has had many positive interactions. However, she does resource guard around high-value items. Because of this, Nova needs to be the only dog in her next home. She thrives when she doesn't have to share her treasures and will absolutely shine as someone's one and only.
