Daisy is a sweet 1-year-and-a-half-year-old girl who weighs around 20 pounds. She was found roaming in the woods with other dogs, and we suspect she didn't have much human contact before coming to us. While she can be a bit shy initially with new people, she blossoms with a little patience and understanding. She's gentle and has no mean bone in her body, but she does tend to hide when she's unsure. Daisy walks beautifully on a leash with a harness and enjoys playing with other dogs, as long as they give her a little space. She absolutely adores cats and plays with them happily!
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home where she can take her time to adjust. She is very afraid of children and needs a home where she won't be exposed to them, even after months of behavior modification training.
Ongoing Health
Daisy has had a wellness examination, has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on her vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Daisy is still learning to trust new people and may need continued patience as she adjusts to her new environment. She's afraid of kids, so a home without them is essential.
