Babe Ruth

Babe Ruth is a magnificent 3-year-old, 98-pound Boxer and American Bulldog mix with a heart as big as his size! He came to us after being rescued from the BARC kill list in April 2025 and has since blossomed in his foster home. Babe is fully potty trained, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives. He's a cuddly affection seeker who loves to snuggle and thinks he's a lap dog, despite his impressive XL frame! Babe is incredibly well-behaved, never causes destruction, and is great with all visitors. He’s a playful, well-mannered indoor dog who truly enjoys his indoor accommodations.

Ideal Home

Babe would thrive in a home that appreciates his XL size and his desire for cuddles. He has done wonderfully with people, children, and other pets in his foster home. However, due to his alpha male tendencies, he would likely do best as the only dog or with female canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Babe is up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives and is neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

Babe is fully potty and crate trained. He's an eager learner and a very well-behaved boy who enjoys his indoor life and never causes any mess or destruction.
