Diesel is the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection. He loves all toys and will happily play fetch with himself if you're not available. He is quiet and mindful of his space, but his happy antics are sure to bring a smile to your face.
Ideal Home
Diesel would be happiest in a home with a yard where he can zoom, toss toys in the air, and play fetch until his heart's content. With an active life including regular adventures and play sessions, he could be an apartment dog, but a home with a yard would be best. He is looking for a confident, playful female dog who can match his energy and handle his bouncy style. A more submissive dog could feel overwhelmed by his friendly and playful approach. Diesel would love to play chase with cats, so no feline friends in the home for him.

Training & Support
Diesel has great basic leash skills and shines when walking in an area without distraction. When passing other dogs, he can get excited and occasionally bark, but he is receptive to gentle corrections and boundaries and will learn quickly. Diesel is crate and house-trained and settles down nicely overnight. He is still young, so he will need an adopter that is active and can give him ongoing training, structure, playtime, and all the love he craves.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably. Transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation due to rising costs.
