About Riley Sweets

Riley is a puppy with a huge personality and an expressive way of interacting with the world. He notices everything happening around him and likes to make sure everyone else notices too. He's very engaged with his environment, very aware of the other dogs around him, and incredibly entertaining to watch because he always seems to have an opinion about what's going on. He is playful, affectionate, and full of life, but he also has a thoughtful side to him. Riley pays attention to the energy around him and likes to involve himself when other dogs are playing, running around, or getting too rowdy. He has a naturally alert and observant personality, and because of that, he will likely grow into a dog who enjoys being very involved in the day-to-day rhythm of his home. Ideal Home

Riley would do best with a family that appreciates an interactive dog—one that communicates, engages, and wants to feel included in everything. He is not the type of puppy who will simply entertain himself in the corner all day. He likes connection, activity, and involvement. He enjoys playing with the other puppies, exploring new spaces, and checking in with his people often.

Ongoing Health

Riley is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He will also receive an injectable heartworm preventative. He has also tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Riley is still learning about the world, and continued training and structure will help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. A home that can provide patience, consistency, and plenty of enrichment would be wonderful for Riley. He is smart, curious, funny, and full of personality.

Transportation

Riley is located in Texas, but we facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
