Meet Moose!

Moose is a spirited one-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix with a handsome white coat splashed with rich brown patches. At around 67 pounds, he's a big boy with an even bigger heart and a playful, goofy puppy spirit. Moose loves to flop onto his back for belly rubs, play fetch with his favorite ball, and enjoy his chew toys. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and comfortable relaxing on his own. Moose knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, and leave it, and he's eager to learn more with positive reinforcement and treats. He has no history of biting, growling, or nipping.

Ideal Home

Moose would thrive with an active individual, couple, or family who enjoys outdoor adventures, enrichment activities, and spending quality time together. He is compatible with older, respectful children who won't be easily knocked over by his enthusiastic greetings. He's generally friendly with other dogs, but benefits from thoughtful introductions to avoid overstimulation. Moose is also suitable for a cat-tolerant home, as he shows curiosity rather than aggression towards cats.

Ongoing Health

Moose is scheduled to be neutered and will have his vaccinations brought up to date prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Moose sometimes gets overexcited when meeting new people, dogs, or other fascinating things, and could use consistent, patient guidance to refine his manners. His willingness to learn and love of treats make him a great candidate for continued training.

Moose is currently located in Puyallup, WA. He is open to long-distance adoptions and can be transported once a suitable home is found.
