Captain

Captain is a very gentle, playful boy who is learning what it's like to be a house dog and loving it. He especially loves being in the same room with his foster mom; he so appreciates her! Captain came to us after being hit by a car and becoming partially paralyzed in his back legs. Now, he also very much appreciates the mobility that a wheelchair gives him. He is very happy that he can run around the yard and chase squirrels. He also loves going for walks with his foster mom, wearing boots. He is doing well with his foster's five small dogs. He also enjoys time in the yard and playtime with puzzles and toys.

Ideal Home

Captain has a big heart and will love a home with parents who can give him lots of attention. He will also love an outgoing, friendly doggy pal.

Ongoing Health

Captain is partially paralyzed in his back legs and uses a wheelchair for mobility.

Training & Support

Captain is house-trained and does well with other dogs. He will need a home that can lift him into his wheelchair, take him for walks, and take care of his diapers.
