About Malibu

Malibu came to us when his litter was surrendered to our rescue at just 5 weeks old and has been here ever since! He has always been on the more timid side, and leaned on his brothers for confidence and support, so he is very dependent on other dogs to learn social cues. He is smart, but tends to focus more on his canine companions and less on the humans, so an experienced dog parent would be best. Malibu is a little wary of people at first, but will warm up after he gets to know you. He is sweet, fun, and active, and it would be great to find him a home where he can be exercised often. The husky in his nature likes to be busy, so please be able to offer physical and mental stimulation. He is very much a pack pup and would love to have another dog in his household. He is BIG for his age, and while he is good with older children, he isn't aware of his size and could potentially knock younger kids down by accident. He is potty/dog door trained, but will pee a little with excitement, which he will probably outgrow.

Ideal Home

Malibu would thrive in a home with another dog to help him build confidence and learn social cues. He is a pack pup at heart and would love to be part of a canine family. While he is good with older children, his large size means he can accidentally knock over younger kids.

Ongoing Health

Malibu is neutered and vaccinated. He does tend to pee a little with excitement, but this is expected to be outgrown.

Training & Support

Malibu is potty and dog door trained. As he is still learning to focus on humans, an experienced dog parent is recommended to help him build confidence and learn to interact more with people. He needs consistent physical and mental stimulation due to his active Husky nature.
