Meet Kai, a 4-year-old spayed shepherd mix who embodies pure joy and is ready to bring endless tail wags and laughter into your life! This sweet girl weighs 47 pounds and is currently being fostered in San Antonio, Texas.

Kai is a social butterfly who loves making new friends, whether they have two legs or four! She's always up for a game of fetch or a good romp with her canine pals, and her happy zoomies are infectious. She enjoys playing with her toys, but her favorite pastime is simply being with her people. After a good play session, she's more than happy to snuggle up for pets and belly rubs.

Kai would thrive in an active household that can match her enthusiasm for play. She has done wonderfully with children and enjoys their affection.

Kai is a healthy girl with no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Kai is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. She may pull slightly on the leash when excited to meet other dogs. Loud noises and storms can make her a little nervous, but she settles well with love and reassurance. We recommend crating any new dog until they have had time to acclimate to their new environment.

Transporation

Kai is located in San Antonio, Texas. Our rescue can arrange transport out of state once she is matched with an approved adopter. Transports run every few weeks.
