Meet Hershey, a delightful 3.5-year-old, 42-pound spayed female Pit Bull Terrier/Bulldog mix with a heart as sweet as her name! Hershey was found wandering the streets of Houston and is now thriving in a loving foster home. She's blossomed into a loyal, affectionate, and easygoing companion ready for her forever home. This low-rider cuddle bug adores her people and is happiest when curled up beside you. She's the type of dog who bonds deeply and thrives when she's part of the family's daily life.
Ideal Home
Hershey is looking for a stable, loving home where she can continue to thrive and feel safe. She's gained a lot of confidence in her foster home and is ready to be someones loyal sidekick. She would do best as the only pet in the home, or with a calm, tolerant dog who doesn't mind her bouncy play style. We don't have any history with cats, so a cat-free home or one with slow, supervised introductions would be best. Loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms can spook her, so a calm, secure environment during those moments is important.

Hershey is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.
Training & Support
Hershey is fully housebroken and does well in her crate. She's great on a leash, walks calmly, and loves exploring. Her little bark is part of her charm and she will let you know if someone is at the door. She has a bouncy play style and may put her front paws on another dog to initiate play, which is why she'd do best as the only pet or with a very tolerant dog.
