Ms. Mel

Ms. Mel is a sweet, 4-month-old female puppy, approximately 21 lbs, who is guessed to be a Lab/Shepherd mix. She was initially timid but has blossomed into a happy, incredibly easy pup who loves to play and snuggle. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with her foster siblings. Ms. Mel is also learning to enjoy human snuggles and is great on a leash, loving sniffy walks and visits to the dog park. She sleeps through the night and is working on her house manners.

Ideal Home

Ms. Mel is looking for a home that will provide plenty of opportunities for play, zoomies, and snuggles. She's eager to explore her new neighborhood on walks and would love to make doggie friends. While she's generally good with other dogs, cats, and kids, she'll need patience and proper training to continue her socialization. As a puppy under 6 months, she requires multiple potty breaks and exercise throughout the day; adopters with standard 8-hour workdays must be willing to make arrangements to meet her needs.

Ongoing Health

Ms. Mel has received age-appropriate vaccines but may not be fully vaccinated yet. It is the adopter's responsibility to ensure she receives all remaining puppy vaccines on schedule. Until she is fully vaccinated, she will be at a greater risk for illness than an adult dog.

Training & Support

Ms. Mel will benefit from attending a puppy obedience class to showcase her intelligence and help her grow into a well-socialized dog. She is working on her house manners and will need continued reinforcement.
