Meet Grub! This brave 4-month-old mixed breed boy was found as a stray, arriving emaciated and with wounds that suggested an animal attack. He was quickly taken to our vet, where he received excellent care and is now on the road to recovery. Despite his rough start, Grub is a true fighter with a sweet, affectionate, and friendly nature. He's now thriving in a loving foster home and his foster family has shared some wonderful insights:
"Grub is the sweetest boy with the cutest underbite! He's incredibly intelligent – he figured out our senior dog's ramp for the back deck immediately. He's also fearless, completely unfazed by fireworks. Grub is a fun-loving pup who is great with children and enjoys playing. He's an affectionate lap dog who loves to snuggle and sleep in a lap. While he's adventurous and independent, he always comes when called. Grub is energetic and would make a fantastic playmate for a child or a great companion for someone who enjoys hiking!"

Transporation
Grub is located in South Carolina. We transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
