Stella

Stella is a sweet, approximately 8-month-old, 6-pound girl who was rescued from neglect. Initially shy and slow to trust due to her past, Stella blossoms into a playful and loving companion once she feels secure. She enjoys "drive-by kisses" and gets along well with other dogs and toys. Stella has curly, poodle-like fur that requires regular grooming to prevent matting, and she appears to be low-shedding, though her exact breed composition is unknown.

Ideal Home

Stella would thrive in a calm environment where she can continue to build her confidence. A home without small children would be ideal, as she can be skittish around loud noises or sudden movements.

Ongoing Health

Stella is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed. She is generally healthy, but her grooming needs should be consistently met to prevent matting.

Training & Support

Stella is still working on her housetraining but is very smart and eager to please, so she should pick up a new routine quickly with consistent positive reinforcement.

Transporation

Stella is located in Houston, TX. She will not be transported until adopted.
