Keri is a very well-mannered, slightly lazy dog who came to us from Kuwait in 2019. She had a tough start, rescued from the desert before a long journey brought her to us. Adopted in 2020, she found herself back with us through no fault of her own. Keri is significantly overweight, partly due to her thyroid, but mostly from being overfed and under-exercised. She generally gets along with dogs her own size but isn't a fan of "yippy" little dogs. Honestly, she's indifferent to other dogs as long as they don't bother her. She's also not a cat person. Keri dreams of a quiet life with a moderately lazy owner who will ensure she gets a walk or two a day and isn't overfed. She knows many commands and is incredibly well-mannered. At her ideal weight, she's in the mid-40s, but she's currently about 25% over. Keri truly desires an owner to call her own. If you're a social hermit who just wants a devoted companion, Keri is your girl. She's ride-or-die for her person, seeing everyone else as an interloper. She's not the life of the party; she's more of a "watch true crime docs with you" kind of dog.
