Mars

Meet Mars! This handsome fellow is about 2 years old and weighs between 45-50 lbs. Mars was found as a stray after sadly being dumped from a truck. He was alone, trying to find food and a safe place to rest. Thankfully, some kind individuals in the neighborhood looked out for him until our team could step in and rescue him. Now, Mars is staying with a wonderful dog trainer, getting a second chance to learn what it's like to be a happy, loved dog again!

Ideal Home

Mars adores everyone he meets and thrives on human connection. He's a social butterfly who also loves to play, especially with other energetic dogs! With a bit of guidance and structure, he could potentially share his home with feline friends. Mars would be happiest in a home with older children, as his enthusiasm could accidentally knock over little ones.

Ongoing Health

Mars is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and microchipped. He is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm. We will happily provide his future adopters with monthly Heartgard to continue his treatment plan.

Training & Support

Mars is still learning and growing, and we're excited about the progress he's making! His recall is fantastic, which is a great sign for his trainability. He's learning to be a dog again and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and patient guidance from his forever family.
