Tootie 2

Tootie is a sweet girl who is about 4 years old and ready to start seeking a home of her very own. She will be a work in progress for a long time, but she could be bonding with her new family and learning to be at ease with them in a loving home instead of a foster one. Tootie is incredibly submissive and does not have a mean bone in her body.

Ideal Home

Tootie needs a patient family that will give her the time she needs to trust them and not push themselves on her. She absolutely loves other dogs and cats, and we really think other animals in a home are beneficial to her. Tootie requires a secure, fenced yard since leash walking is still something that is very scary to her.

Ongoing Health

Tootie is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Tootie is crate trained and for the most part house trained, as long as you take her out enough. We're not going to push leash walking too much, as we've seen her backslide in trust when we've tried to put her on a leash. The most important things for a home for Tootie are time and patience. She is so very sweet and wants love so badly, she just needs to know that she can trust you.
