Tom is a handsome, approximately 5-year-old gentleman with a salt-and-pepper face and the softest fur you'll ever feel. He's reached a perfect age, old enough to know the house rules but young enough to still be full of goofy energy and love. Tom is a certified cuddle bug who loves leaning into his favorite people, carrying his toys, and making sure no couch feels lonely. He deeply loves his people and will happily choose to be right by your side. Tom recently enjoyed a day out where he met children of various ages and handled every interaction beautifully. He's also proven to be a fantastic vet visitor and did wonderfully at doggy daycare, where the staff described him as the most loving, happy boy.
Ideal Home
Tom would love a home where he can be your constant companion. He's a good candidate for apartment living if you're able to continue his leash walking skills. Tom is not a fan of cats.

Tom is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm preventatives.
Training & Support
Tom is potty-trained and has good manners. He would benefit from a family willing to help him continue developing his leash-walking skills.

Transporation
Tom is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
