Nugget

Nugget is a 6-year-old girl whose diminutive size and sweet personality earned her the perfect name! She truly looks like a tiny Pitbull. She has lived peacefully with infants and other dogs. Nugget loves toys, especially fetch, and could play for days on end. She is also crate trained, housebroken, and absolutely loves to snuggle with her people. Unfortunately, Nugget was returned to us due to some fear-based reactivity to new people coming onto the property or into the home, compounded by a new baby in the house.

Ideal Home

Nugget would benefit from a home experienced with reactive dogs and familiar with structured introductions. Her ideal family will have patience, lots of love, and experience in working with fearful dogs.

Ongoing Health

Nugget is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Nugget has some fear-based reactivity to new people. We are happy to set new owners up for success with immediate access to a training plan with Shannon (CPDT-KA), but her adoptive family will need to show diligence and commitment.
