Dumpling

Howdy y'all! My name is Dumpling, and I'm a sweet 12-year-old, 87-pound Anatolian Shepherd mix lady who's ready to find my forever home. I came to Rescue One with a rather large hernia, but the amazing team here got me all fixed up and feeling much better! I'm a super good girl who's house, crate (though I don't really need one!), and leash trained. I get along swimmingly with other dogs and children, though I might accidentally nudge any very little ones. I haven't met any kitties yet, but I'm happy to undergo a cat test if you have one! Even at my age, I've still got plenty of pep in my step for playtime, followed by some quality snuggle time on the couch.

Ideal Home

A home where I can be a cherished member of the family, not an outdoor-only pet. I may accidentally knock down very small children, so a home with older children would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

I take hip/joint supplements and a daily medication for my sensitive stomach.

Training & Support

I'm already house, crate, and leash trained! I'm a well-behaved girl who loves to be part of the family.

Transporation

I am located in Springfield, MO. We do adopt out of state and adopters are responsible for picking up their new family member. If an adoption doesn't work out, adopters are also responsible for returning the pet.
