Josie

Josie is a 5-month-old, 19 lb female Retriever mix with a unique and beautiful pair of eyes – one brown and one ice blue! She's a sweet and lively pup who was rescued with her siblings and is now blossoming into a playful girl. Josie is adjusting wonderfully and enjoys toys and sunbathing. She's learning to be a great companion, though she might try to sneak into your bed for a cuddle – who could resist such a snuggle buddy? She's crate trained but definitely prefers the comfort of a couch or bed!

Ideal Home

Josie would do well with gentle children or other doggy playmates. She can be a little timid at times but is also very sweet and cuddly. She hopes for a patient family to help her explore the world and continue her training.

Ongoing Health

Josie's adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, and microchip.

Training & Support

Josie is working on her leash manners and potty training, and she's doing pretty well with potty pads. She may be a bit intimidated by new experiences, so patience will be key to her continued development.

Transporation

Josie is currently located in South Texas and can be transported to her new home in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and other states on the East and West Coast.
