PIPER

Piper is a beautiful 6-year-old, 60-pound German Shepherd who is past her puppy days and ready for the best years of her life. She's the perfect blend of playful, loyal, and loving. Piper will happily chase a ball in the yard and then snuggle up close to her favorite people. She was sadly abandoned by her previous family, but her spirit remains unbroken, and she greets each day with hope for a forever home. Piper is fully vaccinated, house-trained, walks well on a leash, and is great with children. While she might be a little shy and put on a tough front when meeting new people, she's a gentle soul longing to feel safe and loved again. Her absolute favorite things include playing fetch, carrying her beloved gingerbread toy, and spending quality time with her humans. She asks for little: a comfy bed, a few toys, and a family who will never leave her behind.

Piper would do best as an only dog or with a canine companion her size or larger.
