Daisy

Daisy is a 3-year-old pittie mix with a heart full of love to give! She's a friendly girl who warms up nicely to both people and other dogs once she's had a moment to get acquainted. Daisy is crate trained, which is a great start! She's still working on her potty training, especially when it comes to going number two outside. She'll do her business for number one, but she tends to hold it for pooping until she's back inside, needing lots of encouragement outdoors.

Daisy absolutely adores her toys and walks, and her enthusiasm for them once led to an unfortunate incident at the shelter. In her excitement to get her leash, she jumped up and accidentally nipped a dog walker's finger, breaking the skin. It was not an intentional bite, but a consequence of her zest for fun! Thankfully, a veterinarian intervened and saved Daisy from being euthanized, and now she's looking for her forever family. Since that day, she's had no further incidents. She's well-behaved indoors and would be overjoyed to have a yard where she can run to her heart's content while chasing her beloved balls.

Daisy would thrive in a home where she has a place to run and play, especially if you enjoy playing fetch with her.

Ongoing Health

Daisy is spayed and vaccinated. She is generally healthy and has had no incidents since her previous one at the shelter.

Training & Support

Daisy needs continued support with her potty training, particularly encouraging her to relieve herself outdoors. Reinforcement and patience will be key to her success.
