Odin

Odin is a handsome 5-year-old, neutered male black bi Australian Shepherd who weighs 37 pounds. He's a house-trained and well-mannered boy who generally does well with cats and people, though he can be a bit shy around strangers. Odin is currently in a foster home with six other dogs and has shown no issues, actively avoiding conflict. He knows commands like sit, down, and shake, and he's very treat-motivated, which makes training sessions, especially those involving cooperative care for grooming, a breeze!

Ideal Home

Odin would likely do best in a home without young children, as he has some sensitivities around body handling. Older children might be fine. While he doesn't strictly need a fenced yard, his comfort level off-leash is currently unknown.

Ongoing Health

Odin is a healthy boy with no current health concerns.

Training & Support

Odin can be a bit nervous around strangers and needs some work on body handling, particularly with grooming and vet visits. His foster is actively working on muzzle training and desensitizing him to brushing, and he's showing great progress thanks to his treat motivation. He does tend to pull on the leash, so continued leash training would be beneficial.
