Rocky Boy is a handsome, athletic young pup, about 1 year old and weighing 40 lbs. He and his sister, Roxy Girl, were rescued by dedicated volunteers after being found in heartbreaking condition. Thanks to their dedicated care, medical treatment, and love, Rocky has made an incredible recovery and is now a healthy, happy, and thriving dog! Today, Rocky is an energetic and affectionate companion with a beautiful, shiny black coat. He loves spending time with people and especially enjoys playing with other dogs, so a home with a friendly canine playmate would make him very happy. Rocky is smart, active, and eager to learn. He would do best with an adopter who has experience with active or working-breed dogs and can provide the exercise, structure, and engagement he needs to flourish. Rocky is searching for a loving forever family that will continue helping him grow into the amazing dog he is becoming.
