Benny

Benny is a friendly, intelligent, active, people-loving Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever mix who is about 2 years old and around 70lbs. He was found on the streets of Houston as a young puppy and has been living with his caring foster parent ever since. Benny loves going on adventures and is a total outdoorsy man! He walks well on a leash and is easy to bring around with you wherever you want to go. He enjoys going on long walks with his people, playing fetch in the backyard, and exploring all types of new places. This is a dog you can take anywhere! He is so well-mannered and loves everyone he meets, especially kids, and every day is a new fun-filled adventure for him! Benny is a very smart boy and catches on quickly to learning new commands and tricks. He is also very aware of what his people want from him and mirrors the energy of whoever is around him at the time.

Ideal Home

Benny would do well as the only dog in the household, or with an even-tempered, laid-back canine companion. While he hasn't lived with cats, he does tend to chase them on the street, so any feline friends would need some patience and training to help him learn not to chase.
