Jeffery

Jeffery is a handsome Staffordshire Terrier mix who is approximately 2-3 years old. This gentle giant weighs in at 90-95lbs and is a true sweetheart with people. He was sadly dumped at the Dallas shelter and may have previously been a junkyard dog, but he's ready for a fresh start in a loving home. Jeffery enjoys leisurely strolls and spending quality time with his people, especially cuddling on the couch for movie nights. He's definitely not an exercise enthusiast but will make a wonderful, loyal companion.

Ideal Home

Jeffery would thrive in a home with a single person, a couple, or a family with older children aged 12 and up. He needs to be the only pet in the household, as he does not get along with other male dogs and his compatibility with female dogs is uncertain. He is not a dog park dog. Absolutely no tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Jeffery is heartworm negative and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

This smart boy is already crate trained and potty trained. He knows his commands and is very responsive; if you raise your voice during walks, he will back up and sit beside you.
