Kim is a playful and joyful 1-year-old male Border Collie-Labrador mix who weighs approximately 32 pounds. He is sweet, loving, and ready for adventures! Kim is a smart boy and would thrive with training to help him reach his full potential. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is also cat-friendly. Kim is leash-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys car rides. He was found abandoned at the shelter and bravely recovered from parvo after a hospitalization.
Ideal Home
Kim would do best with an active family who enjoys outdoor activities. A home with a fenced backyard is preferred. Families who understand the needs of rescued animals and have experience with dog behavior and training will be ideal for Kim. Patience and high tolerance are a must, as he needs time to decompress and build trust. He is not fully house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Kim is up-to-date on all his health protocols, including vaccinations (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), deworming, microchipping, and a 4DX test. He has a negative heartworm test and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. A health certificate and vaccination booklet are provided.
Training & Support
Kim is a smart dog who is perfect for training. He is not fully house-trained, and adopters should be prepared for this aspect of his care. He may have been traumatized in his past and will likely need an adjustment period in his new home. Patience and understanding are key to his successful integration.

Transportation
Kim is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is available for transport to the East Coast. Transport is available and will be delivered to the adopter's home address. The transport fee is $400.00 and is the responsibility of the adopter, payable before departure.
