Yeager lll YC

Meet Yeager! He's a tall, athletic, and incredibly handsome Doberman who's always ready for adventure. Yeager is a complex but obliviously happy dog with a lot of personality. He's a project dog who is selectively dog-social, doing well with females and smaller to medium-sized males. He has also done well with cats and older children. Yeager is extremely happy, confident, and always ready to go!

Ideal Home

Yeager needs an experienced, active, and consistent human or humans who will not give up when he inevitably tests every boundary. Doberman or working breed experience is strongly preferred. This is not a dog for someone seeking a chill, easy companion.

Ongoing Health

Yeager is not exhibiting any known health conditions at this time.

Training & Support

Yeager is potty trained but will have accidents and mark indoors if not given enough opportunities outside. He does not always respect human correction and learns patterns quickly, sometimes using them to his advantage, especially around food. He rarely settles, especially around other animals, and his desire to play is a full-time job for him. He will destroy beds, feeders, and anything not built for chaos. He eats fast and immediately wants to sprint and jump, so deep-chested breed awareness is required. Yeager is not untrainable but requires someone experienced, structured, and committed to ongoing training. This is not a dog to "figure it out as you go."
