Groot is a charming adult male Pit Bull Terrier mix who, along with his sister Cacherie, has experienced a stressful journey. They were rehomed to an individual who later surrendered them to the shelter in concerning condition. While Cacherie is still recovering from being emaciated, Groot is receiving the care he needs and is now ready to find a loving foster or forever family.

Ideal Home

Groot would thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of love and stability. He is noted to be good with dogs and children. However, he is not good with cats.

Ongoing Health

Groot is currently receiving treatment for the conditions he was surrendered with. He is spayed/neutered and vaccinated.
