Frost is an 8-year-old Husky with a heart full of love, even though she has congestive heart failure. She's currently enjoying life in a foster home, seeking out her humans for pets and basking in the sun with her foster sibling. Frost has discerning taste at mealtime and appreciates a patient approach. She's looking for a special hospice foster-to-adopt placement. While she has significant heart conditions and requires daily medications, she's still full of love and ready to be loved. NMDR is committed to supporting Frost throughout her life and will cover medical expenses related to her pre-existing conditions, as recommended by our veterinary team. Frost is living with congestive heart failure and significant heart conditions. She requires daily medications and additional appointments for testing before she can be medically cleared for her spay surgery. NMDR will cover medical expenses, within reason, that are directly related to her pre-existing conditions, as recommended by our veterinary team.
Training & Support
Many NMDR dogs have had limited prior socialization and may need time, patience, and support as they adjust to home life. Skills such as house training, leash walking, and handling may require continued practice. Progress will vary by individual dog.
