A little about them
Freya is a sweet, active, and playful Doberman with a goofy personality and a wonderfully gentle spirit. She loves her people, toys, walks, car rides, outdoor adventures, and quietly relaxing beside her favorite person.
Freya is friendly, loyal, curious, independent, and well-mannered. She may be shy in new situations and timid when first meeting unfamiliar dogs, but she is not aggressive and makes friends quickly once comfortable. She enjoys canine play, responds well to redirection around squirrels, and is highly motivated by treats.
Ideal Home
Freya would thrive with an active family who wants their dog involved in everyday life. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful, though an adventurous family who enjoys walking, hiking, biking, running, or outdoor play could also be a great match.
- Great with men, women, children of all ages, dogs, and cats
- Needs patience and reassurance while settling into new situations
- May experience storm anxiety and some separation anxiety
- Her three-year-old brother, Biscuit, is also available, though they do not need to be adopted together
Ongoing Health
Freya is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on prevention. She has no known health concerns. A health certificate will be provided before transport.
Training & Support
Freya is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night. She knows Sit, Down, Come, Crate, Leave It, and House; when told “House,” she comes and sits between her person’s legs. She is food motivated and responds well to continued positive training.
