Panda is a shy but sweet 2-year-old, 50-pound Pittie mix with a mellow nature, lovingly named for his black and white coat. He enjoys his toys, chew bones, and daily walks, thriving on routine and structure. Panda is a rescue who will reward you with deep affection and gratitude. He's great on leash, perfect for tandem walks, and enjoys car rides, settling well in the backseat. He loves to snuggle up and share the couch, but is also kennel trained and house-trained.
Ideal Home
Panda would thrive in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home. He absolutely needs to be in a home with another dog, ideally a playful female, as he draws a lot of confidence from canine companions. He previously did well in a home with children aged 5 and up, but any children should be respectful and sweet towards him. Panda is not recommended for a home with kitties.
Ongoing Health
Panda is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Panda is still learning to trust and open up, so patience is key. He bonds well with his people through walks. Our behavior team and his foster mom are available to provide insight and advice during his decompression period.
